Web Application & SaaS Development

Web applications and SaaS platforms, built end to end.

I design and build web applications and SaaS platforms — the parts that show, and the parts that don't: the data model, the APIs, the accounts and permissions underneath. Recent work includes a multi-channel SaaS platform, an e-learning platform with course and progress tracking, and the public platform for a digital studio.

01 — The Problem

A lot of web development stops at the interface. The business ends up with a site that looks right in a demo and falls apart once real data, real accounts, or real edge cases show up — because nobody designed the data model underneath it.

02 — The Solution

I build the application as a whole system: the data model first, then the APIs and business logic, then the interface on top. That's what's behind Wasil AI's CRM, ProTech's and KafaaEdu's course and progress tracking, and AFAQX's component-driven platform — software that holds up once real users are on it.

03 — What's Included

  • Data model and architecture, not just the interface
  • Full-stack build — frontend, backend and database
  • Accounts, roles and permissions where the product needs them
  • API design for your own apps or third-party integrations
  • A component-driven frontend that's easy to extend later
  • Deployment and handover

04 — Process

  1. 01

    Define the nouns

The real entities the product deals with — these become the data model everything else is built on.

  2. 02

    Build the spine

The one critical flow end to end before anything else, so the core of the product is proven early.

  3. 03

    Layer in the rest

Accounts, edge cases, admin tools — the parts that don't demo well but decide whether it ships.

  4. 04

    Ship a narrow, working version

A small release that fully works teaches more than a broad one that half-works.

  5. 05

    Iterate from real usage

Fix the data model where it was wrong, add the next feature.

05 — Technologies

  • React
  • Next.js
  • Node.js
  • TypeScript
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • REST APIs

08 — FAQ

Do you build the backend too, or just the frontend?
Both. I design the data model and APIs along with the interface — that's usually what decides whether a web app holds up past the demo.
Can you work with an existing codebase?
Yes, within reason — tell me what's there and what you're trying to add, and I'll scope it honestly, including if a rebuild would serve you better than patching.
What does "SaaS development" mean here specifically?
A web platform with accounts, a subscription or tiered structure, and a product that's used repeatedly rather than a one-off site — Wasil AI is the clearest example of this in my work.

Have a project that needs this?

Tell me what you're trying to build and I'll tell you honestly whether — and how — it fits.
